Elizabeths

ha okay. some people say they are to wide for park? but thats mainly what i ski and all mountain. but how will they do on rails and boxes?

thier jus a fat park ski dude, wood core, good for buttering, if ya dont mind that thier a bit shorter (172?-174?) i think, but thier a super fun ski and are good for park, even pow with the 110 waist. Check Garrett Russel skiing on them on youtube or the TC episodes....and yea they'll be gone after this year.

exactly how they ride

short and super flexy

i love it at 6'2" 180 or so

all these 12 year olds on here will be like NO YOU NEED THE BIGGEST COOLEST SKIS YOU CAN GET but pollard designed em to ride mad short like a snowboard

my experience with pollard skis (have em all, /claim) each of them ski exactly like you think they will and they all have a flowy surfy feel, so if you know its what you want you will fucking love any of them, especially lizzys and ep's and bacons if you want a flowey midflex ski that kills it everywhere but i dont use em much cuz i just use the other two

the only thing im scared for is that i dont know if they will be a challenge for me in the park. are they easier on rails? rails are hard for me but i try them. i am on rossignol sprayers right now and i feel like if i had wider skis they would be easier to ride rails and boxes. and land jumps but i just like to hear from people who have them or know about them what they're like!??

well i only hit like 20 footers but would be comfortable on like a 45 on my lizzys

idk how i would feel on big jumps

would be kinda scary cuz of the short flexyness

but they stomp good

might be harder for a little scrawny kid to throw around in the air, like 7's and up but shouldnt be too bad

i love em on rails

they make my rail game way better than it is on my other skis

i have also skied them on 3 differrent mounts and go tru center for no pow and stuff if you plan on using them for some pow go a few cm back

well i have got the basics down for rails and boxes. im just mixin it up now. but i just love throwin down good jumps. i weight 145 and i am 5 10

like 10ft-45ft kickers. throwin down whatever i can inbetween. im not to advanced but i can throw down a 540 tailgrab and little stuff

hmm

im not really sure i guess none of my skis mkae the landings hard?

its more about how you ski, land and the snow

but the wide platform makes landings smoother i guess

but the shortness and flexyness make them more prone to washing out say than like 185 walls or something

okay no i understand. like my skis now are just so skiiny. i can land a trick solid but i was just wondering if they make your landings more stable. but im so excited to ski these. they are getting mounted with griffon scitzos right now.

word

i thought you were just thinking about getting em

where did you mount

3 back?

so you can go center or 6 back?

i dont want to see anymore elizabeth threads, theyre a terrible ski, you wont like them, dont buy them........;)

serious though, dont buy them, i want there to be some left for me to buy

seriously face palm

but no it shouldnt matter if you got schizos on there

they will most likely mount at rec

It doesnt matter too much. Make sure they mount the centre of the bindings range at recommended. That way you can go to true centre for park. Recommended for groomed and up to -3 for pow pow..

They are ridiculously snappy, lively, stable, lightweight park skis. They work amazing for jibbing, buttering, and huge air. The large width makes them easy to slide, since they always land flat. They work ok in pow, since your probably gonna center mount them. The only downside, is that they snap easier. If you are a big dude, or put 100+ days a season on your gear, you may break them within a year. But that is what warranties are for eh?

Ahhhh I bet you are.
I fucking love mine. Soft, short and fat, just how skis should be.

I don't find lizzies hard on rails at all. For learning to just slide the width definitely helps, but I can do the same tricks (270 off both ways, blind sw ups) on my lizzies and chronics without noticing any difference between them. Excellent in powder, at least for me they are. I'm like 6' or 6'1" 155lb and I love them everywhere. First time on jumps with them is akward, you can definitely feel the air catching them but only take like 2 hits to get used to. I haven't washed out on them, 5's are the funnest on them. sooooo flexy, but mine had a full tune and I was ripping down sheer ice at stowe with absolutely no washing out

i didn't say hard, i said harder. i went from a 80mm waist to a 90mm this past week, and the difference was definitely apparent.

after watching garrett russel shred on them and reading everything in this thread i want these skis sooo bad, and i know a bunch of people with them got deals on them, but should i drop the $400+ on them???

my bestfriend has a pair, everyone says there a powder ski but there a park ski, there really soft and a fun ski i would definitley recomend gettin them.

not trying to hate but that doesn't mean anything... pretty easy trick, doesn't require much edge.

i skied trouble makers, 78 in the waist. after they were stolen i took out my dads 177 straight skis, around 68-70 underfoot. now i'm on watchlifes. i found that the skinnier skis were noticeably easier to lock in with.

not trying to hate but your shitty opinion doesnt speak for everyone who slides a god damn rail on skis, i could start listing off the sizes of the skis and the waist dims of all of them that i have ever done a rail on but thats not what this thread is about.....

chill for a minute.

i share my opinion, you share yours. maybe they aren't the same. cry about it alittle. i found that skinny skis were easier, you found differently.

we are allowed to disagree...

you need to chill out and just let people say what they want about fat skis being easier on rails and you say your sizes and dims and bullshit and well all go our separate ways
