Elizabeths vs. Jp vs. Julien

Im looking for a new pow ski and Ive narrowed it down to these two. Which one would be better for pow skiing and BC jumps?
 
Um, maybe you should consider Bacons instead.

Cuz JP vs Juliens are 178 and 188 and Bacons are 182. A bit more compared, instead of 172's and 178 or 188.
 
Im 5'9 5'10 area and 135 pounds. Most of the time Ill just be riding like between a half foot to two feet of powder and doing alot of backcountry jumps. I like skiing fast in powder like straightlining and stuff but also need a ski with good response.
 
JP's don't straightline as good as ANTs, but lizzies don't straightline as good as JPs. The ANTs would prolly own you, so go with JPs.
 
I agree... JP's. But becareful what binding you mount up.. b/c they are really soft and a lot of people pull em out. I wouldn't recommend a pivot.
 
i got some jp's for around 350 plus shipping, i have pictures and what not hit me up if your intrested, and they are 06's 188cm, never skied or mounted
 
the JPs are nice but if i were you go with the Juliens, just because his names cooler.
 
JP's and mount them 89 from tail, that is where all Armada guys ride 'em and it's working for me. "omg, omg you mean tanner rides at 89 from tail?" yes.
 
Anyone got more infor on this mounting question? becasue im in the same boat, getting 178's and was thinking just mounting them 79 from tail becasue ski is 10 smaller , you know?
 
you could get bacons, if you mount them closer to true center then they arent gonna feel big at all and that way you can have really good float, plus bacons arent that heavy anyway. but jp's would be awesome too, elizabeths are mabye too short
 
Just so you know... a 178 armada JP vs Julien is gonna be almost identical to a 182 bacon in length. why? b/c the companies measure their skis differently. So if you say the bacon is too long for you the Jp will also be too long.

mounting on 178 jps? -3 from true center seems far too forward compared to what people have told me and judging my the 89 fromtail on 188? anyone?
