Elizabeths vs. bacons

so im deciding between these two skis and i need help, im gonna use whatever i get mostly for bc jumps and bc jibbing. so what i mostly care about is how fun the skis are. i know everyone loves the elizabeths, and they can carve and pop and everything so well. i havent heard much about the bacons, they seem really similar, they have extended tip transitions or whatever and i think thats the only difference besides length. i also want to go into the park a bit with them too, and ill be mounting pretty close to true center, they both are light skis too. i weigh about 140-150 so im not really big or anything.

i just dont know if the bacons can carve and be as quick and agile as elizabeths, elizabeths just seem so easy to do anything with.

i'd go w/ the elizabeths. you're pretty light, and the bacons aren't necessarily heavy, but they're 10cm longer and that's just more ski for you to be throwing around.

yeah i was thinking elizabeths, it just seems like they would be so easy to throw around and do anything on since they are powder ski thats 172. the only thing im worried about is landings, the elizabeths seem like they might be kinda small for landing big ass jumps and cliffs, and switch too. ill be going like 2 or 3 back from true, so that dosent leave a whole lot of tip. but they are 110 in the waist, so they probably have alot of flotation.

get jp vs juliens 178 there the best bc jumps ski and i hear they shred on groomers and probably the park too

ok i decided on elizabeths, i figure they will be great for me, i doubt ill have any problems stomping stuff in pow. the huge shovel and 110 waist should make it pretty easy.

does anyone know where i should mount though? i was thinking like 2 back from true.

you should try and get a pair of last years lizzies, they have a sicker graphic, and you can get them cheaper for the same ski.

dont quote me on this, but i think 2.5 cm back from true center is the recomended point, or very close to it, these are meant to be centered or very close to it.
