Elizabeths... jjs?

is there any difference between this years elizabeths and last years? im about 5' 8/ 5' 9 and only weigh like 125 lbs and im wondering if these would be a good ski for me... im lookin for a lightweight, flexible, powder jib ski that handles well in groomers and on park and that is basically something i can take all around and turns well. i was also lookin at the JJ's but im wondering if that may be too much ski
 
you described the lizzies to a t. i will say that even for being shorter skis they didn't feel too short when i ride them and i like skis around 185... the jjs are going to be a lot stiffer. I've flexed this years, and next to the lizzies i'd say you'd like the lizzies perfectly.
 
yea the only thing that turns me on about the jjs is the rocker... but i guess rockers not a big deal

and i think the lizzies would be perfect, only concern is 110 being too wide

also is there any difference between this years lizzies and last years? i dont really feel like spending 750 on a pair of skis that i could be getting 400 for
 
Don't worry about the width man, they rock on the groomers! Pretty much my favorite ski when i did a demo when it was a hard pack day. And I weigh about 180, real soft and playful but they dig trenches when you need them to. And there's no change from last year to this year.
 
lizzies are a park specific ski. they will work in powder just fine tho. jjs are a pow ski. dont think theyd be too well in the park. but if ur looking for a one ski quiver get the lizzies.
 
really? i kinda like last years graphics better

anyways gracias for the advice... i think im gonna go for it. Any idea how much last years models would run for without bindings?
 
the elizabeths are sweet for your size, i rode them this last season and i wrote a review on them.. super fun all round.. that said this year i am looking at the jjs and thinking about selling the lizzies and dropping some cash on jjs.. but the lizzies are sick.. there doesnt seem to be much price change between the 07/08 and 08/09.. because they nearly sold out.. untracked.com has the 08s for 529 and the 09s for 599.. just depends which graphic you prefer..

no, i disagree, the best graphic was the blue lady who disappeared at her feet, that was a sick fucking graphic, the best Graphic of all time for sure.
 
the 09 graphics look way sicker in real life. i just got mine a few weeks ago. skiing them in new zealand now. theyre sick in powder, and once u get used to the width ull kill it in the park too. really light ski especially if u mount some griffons on them like me. i usually ski like a 176 or 180, but the lizzies are sweet at 172.
