Well I have a pair of 07 Line Elizabeths mounted at -2 from true with a set of rossi axial 120 bindings. I'd like to trade for a pair of bacons w/ bindings. I love these skis but I think that i would like something a little longer. They are in great shape with around 9 days on them. Some chips on the top sheet but thats purely cosmetic, and the bases are PERFECT. I'll get pics up later if theres any serious interest. I'm open to other offers as well, skis only tho.

can i ask how big you are and why you want a longer ski because im considering getting the lizzies but im not sure if the bacons would better suit me.

See I absolutly love these skis. I'm 5 11 and 160. I'm from British Columbia and so far out of my 23 days up to the hill almost 20ish of them have been pow days. The Lizzies are great for trees and just having a blast on the hill, but when it comes to DEEP snow and steeps they aren't cutting it( atleast not for a guy my size). When i bought them in august I wasn't planning on doing the kind of skiing that I am now( lots of deep powder and steeps). I was thinking that this season would be like most, by that i mean having to hunt in the tight trees and stuff for the pow and just messing around on groomers and the park on most days. I think that a longer ski would be much better. If I had the funds I'd love to keep these and get another, longer ski for the deep stuff but right now thats not possible so a trade is the next best option for me. I figure there has to be SOMEONE on NS looking to dump thier bacons in favor of the smaller Lizzies.

i did see someone wanting to make this trade a few days ago im pretty sure, if u want to sell let me know cause i might want lizzies

Thanks for the link man. I think I had found the guys thread here on NS and he has a pending trade.

Hey buddy, I bought both lizzies and bacon's this year. I feel the exact same way about the lizzies that you do...great in trees and tight pow but they suck in the open bowls, steeps and on and kind of chops/bumps.

The Bacons on the other hand are great in the open bowls and deep stuff but not much better in chops or the bumps and still a little too soft for the steeps. You also give up a bit of the abilities in the trees. Don't get me wrong the bacons are still pretty decent in there but not great.

I would sugest looking for like a seth or something along those lines. My old seth pistols are a much better ski for all conditions and def better in the steeps. If you could keep them both i would go for it but otherwise I would say go for something else. The bacons are just a little too powder specific if you ask me. Besides i live in BC too and although we have had tones of snow latley it won't last for ever and those weeks where we dont the bacons will just be too much i think. Just my two cents

For reference i'm 5'9 about 140 and ride whistler.

A bump BUT with pics....

In some of the shots it may appear that there are white "scratches" on the tails but thats just some effect from the camera. Still looking for a pair of Bacons.

i have 07 invaders 161 with scratch 100s if any one would trade for lizzies (ya right) then i would be glad to.

Sorry guys if I were trade for another ski it would need to be in the 180s. I am basically looking for ski that is similar to the lizzies or bacons but in the 180s.

i figered you were looking for bacons. any ways who would trade lizzies for invaders? a dumbass? then i guess im looking for a kid with rich parents who doesnt like the graphics.
