Elizabeth purpose : park or pow ??

I was lead to believe a while ago that even with the considerable dimensions that the ski was more designed for that park rather than powder, now as I read various online shops descriptions they're all toting it to be a powder freestyle ski .... so what is its application??? 50 50, 80 pow 20 park, 80 park 20 pow ?????

On a side note,... I wonder how it would ride in the pipe ...

i think there more of a pow ski thatll perform in the park

yeah, i hear they rip anywhere you go, anything you do. the ultimate ski i guess. im gonna pick some up next year when the prices dropp a bit

how are they replacing the prophets when the prophets haven't even been released yet, and are supposed to be released the same year as the Elizabeths?

 
yeah they have 3 differnt profets this year, but all these people talking about using the eliza in the park and im like WHAT!??!

any skis can go virtually anywhere. there are a few exceptions. eg...snowblades in the park, snowblades in the powder, snowblades on the mountain at all.

Very wrong. They're an everything do it all ski. Pollard was rippin them in T'lines park all year. It's his Pro-model ski, the Prophet is still around. The things are sick for everything, buy some and takem them anywhere.

pollard designed them with park in mind is my understanding... but for anyone besides pollard they will make a great powder ski

^ Dude above nailed it. They are Pollard's park ski. From what I've seen and heard from guys who've ridden them for a while they kill it everywhere though.

Gravitypro has been riding them for a few months now, he's in NZ right now but check with him for details on how they perform everwhere. I know he really likes them in the pipe even though they are pretty soft.

They are definitely not replacing the Prophets. There's going to be 3 models of that lineup this year.

park ski. obviously work in pow. i loved them in the powder and they were fast and agile for park. not super soft but kinda soft. definitely not super stiff or super soft. quite pleasant i must say

With that sidecut, they are a PARK SKI. Not a pow ski. Will they rip pow? No reason to assume otherwise, but that's not what they're made for, so the guy who said "90 pow 10 park" is talking right out of his ass. Don't answer questions if you don't know the answer.

I'd say "ask Josh Bryant for further opinions" since he's been riding them for half a season, but the guy uses prophet 130s for pipe, I'd say his impressions are a bit skewed...

 
let us not forget that pollards pow ski is 130 at the waist.. so, for us to say they're his park ski... is still a pow ski to most of us. let us not forget.. they ARE 110 at the waist.. i think? thats bloody HUGE for the park.

Guy above him, fat skis kill in the park. The Liz is a whole new way of looking at park skis, fat as fuck instead of just 80mm waist and soft.

 
its like 85 pow 15 park... it is in the middle fo teh motherships and the prophets... leaning more towards the prophets..
