Elias Ambul is the King of Style

im kind of in shock that the king of style isnt b-dog, edollo, or hornbeck. even vila has sick style. anyways congrats to bobby
 
hahahahaha thats a joke. as the dude up there said, a real "king of style comp" would go casabon, henrik, and hornbeck. lololol bobby brown... no style
 
elias is the last person that should be called king of style, this competition either needs to be renamed to king of hucking or needs a major overhaul
 
I'm still confused to why both Keefer and Sheehan didn't make it there vids were what real style is all about..
 
Good comp but definitely not based on style... I would like to see a comp based on most corked 3 or 7 kinda like the tail whip comps in moto x

yeah, it's old news that the king of style comp has nothing to do with style. no need to keep bitching about it.
 
I'm so happy for all of them!! I don't understand others comments regarding Elias having no style time and time again. Guess it's a matter of opinion because I happen to love his style!! Bobby looked awesome as well, landed so clean and effortlessly. Great contest to watch that's for sure. That Tom kid(never heard of him) was amazing as well.
 
Well, this year the judges acctually said they would judge based on style more than technicality, ie. a perfect cork 9 would win over a hucked dub cork 10. At least that was what jacob wester said on swedish tv, and thats also the reson he did those sick sw cork 9s instead of dub corks. The judging was kinda bad based on what the judges said previous to the comp, IMO.

What we all need to remember is that there is a difference between comp style and style. In a comp a trick is regarded stylish as long as the grab is held and the landing is good. The trick can still look robotic without losing points.
 
To all of the people saying Bobby or Elias have no "style", everyone has style, it just might be different from Henrik's or Casabon's style.
 
Just because someone does a cork 9 blunt in xxxxxxxxxl clothes doesn't make it look any better than someone doing a dub 10 blunt with normal fitting clothes.
 
everyone needs to shut the fuck up about the name of the comp and how b dog should win, you cant judge style anyway its an opinion.

 
theres a huge diffrence between winning king of style, and actually being the king of style.

I saw it live, they changed the second and third place???
Jacob was so sick, he was the only one with good style. (And Tom Garnier, which got second)
 
No matter how opinion based style may be, i think the vast majority of people will agree that these three arent even close to the top three
 
I almost lose it when people say things like "Yeah, Bobby has no style". What is wrong with you people? And no, there are no competitions based solely on style. Get over it.

speaking of style.....I watched Andreas' run & others of x games slopestyle.

Thats def where it shoes. No point in a one hit / big air comp. The last one I enjoyed was Mik D sw 10.
 
Yeah the "king of style, King of spin" topic is getting kind of played out, get over it. It´s been like that for the past 3 years at least.

 
they really need to rename that comp.

the argument of "king of spins", this comp isnt about style, its all about dubs and technical tricks are all really getting old.
 
No, no they don't. People need to realize that it's just a name.

It amazes me that there is this same argument every year. I thought everyone should've learned by now style has nothing to do with it.
