Eldora CO question

yo i live in steamboat and ive never ridden eldora but i will be shredding there during my thanks giving break wile im in town eating weed turkey. anywho i was wondering if they usualy set up any pre season park cuz if not i dont think i will even spend the money to ride
 
It is my home mountain and it is the shittiest place to ski in colorado early season. Imagine one or two green runs that are packed with gapers, shallow snow, and just basic all around shit. I don't even go early season and I have a pass.
 
Pass on ur weed turkey and stay in the boat for some epic powder that is on the way. and You can and will get a trespassing ticket at eldora without a pass even IF YOU HIKE. That place is the donkey dick show of colorado....No one likes it
 
I agree that Eldora is probably the worst place early season in the state. They will probably have two runs open, maybe three. Although with some good early season storms in the front range it will probably be better than usual. The chance of an early season park is slim to none, at best one very crappy and very short box. Their terrain park manager is an absolute idiot. That is all
 
fuck Eldora, back around 2003 me and a friend got in trouble for hiking their pipe. They threatened us with theft of service charges, had the sheriff there and everything, if we didn't each buy two tickets and leave. It's no wonder motherfuckers snap and shoot up the place.
 
You haven't skied Powderhorn. It totally reminds me of the Poconos, but Eldora def feels like skiing back east.
 
eh... last time i skied there was like 5 years ago. it was horrible. but i havent skied at eldora in like 10 years so maybe ill take your word for it.
 
thanks for the input everyone. ive devised a scheme of epic proportions. i plan on having my parents give me money for 4 days of tickets yet doing 4 days of sitting on my ass smoking my vaporizer i will buy with the ticket money instead.
