Here is an article on it (many more if you just google it)

Before you die hard ES fans get butthurt because you it's an MMO, consider a few points:

-They are developing for Personal Computer under OSX and Windows. This will not hurt the graphics this will may help it. They only need to focus on one piece of hardware, not three. The graphical range will be much wider to cope with graphical limitations of crappy hardware and utilize the best hardware on the market.

-Just because it is an MMO does not mean that it will be a clone of a previous MMO. Bethesda has a rather large following that will purchase the product regardless. Companies like Trion Worlds (Rift) and ArenaNet (Guild Wars) did not have that luxury. They took a few risks, but nothing that could revolutionize an industry. We see treyarch doing this with Black Ops 2. BO2 looks like a different game, different setting, different story structure, and the works. Bethesda has great luxury and they have lots of insensitive to take large risks that may be very progressive.

-I'm just gonna get ganked and I can't play it like Skyrim/Oblivion. While that is true, we must also consider this is not going to be your typical ES game where you explore at your own pace with predictable consequences. This is a different game all together. Have fun, I know I will make for good memories.

Just remember, this is all speculation and it is just a game. Bethesda is not looking to exploit you and turn you into a sheep (at least I hope). Don't loose sleep over it and hopefully it will be fun!

idk if i want to play the elder scrolls online, people would just be giant dicks and kill you before anything fun happens

50 days is not that bad compared to some people i know hahaha

but yes, i am stoked

also diablo 3

Hell yeah.

50 days is a lot of time though. After playing WoW for a year and a half I logged 14 days and a fair amount of that was AFK. It is not uncommon though to see people put in a year or so of game time. Those cases are outliers though. The reason one may come across them frequently is because they appear much more frequently in the game than a bored stoner who just enjoys a friendly community of like minded folks

is this for xbox360 or just the computer? cus if its for xbox it will be like my favorite game ever cus id just form a NS clan and we'd rape everyone hahahaha

Sooooo stoked! I'm glad its cross OS too (Hopefully? I don't see why not.) Every time I play Skyrim, I think how cool it would be as an MMO. OFC you need to make minor tweaks to support an economy and also make a 3rd person view, I'm sure Bethesda can pull it off no problem. They have a huge following and I can't wait for this to come out! Hopefully its not 15 bucks a month like TOR and how WoW was.

Gonna give this a bump. Get stoked people, getting released in like 6 months! Woohoo! Seriously though I am pretty stoked

this might be an MMO i actually get into. as much as i prefer skyrim to what this'll be like, I'll just treat them as different games and hey, it might be pretty good!

FUCK yes.I played morrowind and oblivion and skyrim to death, beyond stoked to see what this game has to offer.

I knew there had been talk of an Elder Scrolls MMO but I didn't think it'd actually happen.

Now I only have to wait a year until it comes out... Fuuuuuuck

Also super stoked to see that they're making it native to OSX, which is awesome considering the complete lack of decent games native to OSX.
