first of all, you kids out there should know that elan is not a cheap, garbage company. Their skis are made in slovenia, in eastern europe, a country formerly under the communist block. Their cost of production is significantly lower than rossignol or salomon, both of which are made in france. In short, you are getting great bang for your buck. As for armada being made by elan, it is entirely possible, considering elan's factory has been subcontracted to make some of rossi's models. Before you freak, remember that the scratch is made in spain, under rossi's snowboard direction. Anyway, elan rules, regardless of whether it has a huge new school team or not.Buy quality, notimage.

some people are retarded. Everyone on this site thinks elan sucks purely based on there one try at a twin tip the Airstyle or whatever. True that ski did suck ass but Elan as a company makes very good skis and they made the sport progress a lot in a huge direction. If not for elan making the SCX with its radical side cut shaped skis might not have become such a main stream sucess so soon. you people are retarded.

Yes they did help bring about shaped skis, and yes i have ridden like 5 other models besides their shitty twin tip, and they were all just poorly constructed pieces of shit.

They are a good company fo skis they just made a set of twins that blowed so they got the wrath for it, as far as armada going to contract their skis with them, as long as armada is doing the overseeing and testing i think it will turn out awesome!

clearly, armada, 4front and so on dont make high quality skis, but sell a high quality image. Frankly, those companies are cool, but they are only progressing one side of the sport. A company like elan may not have all of the top riders, but as far as developing technology goes, they are light years ahead of other more popular makes. For example, fusion technology on the m12 and m8 outdoes the pilot system anyday. but most of you would not care, because you are too concerned with the colour of tanner hall's underwear.
