yeah they have a metal strip

when i was buying my skis...the guy at the shop was hyping them up...i was like thanks...but no thanks...

agreed they are REALLY stiff

yeah shop guys love em...they just rave over the edge in the centre of the ski. it is supposed to take pressure off the base of the ski and off the two edges...but who grinds with their skis completely flat all the time? nobody, so in that respect it is a waste. however it links the two side edges together, so they will never pull out...that is pretty genious.

but the fact that it's metal makes the ski like a slab of concrete, they need something like lexan or some strong flexible plastic instead

they are truly the best skis ever, the 3rd edge is attached to the 2 others, if u find they stiff, it that ur weak im 130 and I love them...so much good times with them, my fist back, cork, spin in-off, side, 5........

 
btw, this years, the cosmetic craks, bot no big deal, it doesnt do anything, on next year, they dont put the vernish, so a bit lighter, abit more flex and no craks. the graphic is potentiolly the same with colors inverted, im posting it in misc soon along wit my homemade chopper, my bike and my new m 999 protos
