Elan Mo2

Elan knows what they are doing, theres nothing to knock about the MO2 its a solid ski. Elan actually makes Armada skis so for the price an a very similar ski just go for the MO2

no shit, elan makes armada's?? i've heard good things about the Mo2's, and i heard they apparently realeased the 05/06 ski last week but haven;t seen it

Yeah, I didn't know Elan made Armada skis either.

(I know Oakley is Armada's parent company)

Anyway, I demoed the Mo2 and it's an amazing ski

Not your typical soft park ski.

It great all mountain (I actually prefer it all mountain over their M666) They're quick and snappy and can lay down some mean carves (and still reboun out of them)

They've got the 'third egde' underfoot for rails

I didn't get to test it on rails, but I guess the edges are all connected, so it should atleast make for a stronger ski.

On jumps they were very solid

As soon as I can sell my Volkl expressions, I'm definitley going to buy a pair of these.

I'd be very interested in finding out more about the '06 models if anybody has info

get into the gym before you hit the park on these things, the 163s w/o binding weighed almost as much as my STLs w/ Marker Comp Free 12.0

You mean 165's?

What's the weight of them anyway?

I did notice they felt a bit heavy, but assumed it was from the demo bindings.

Still didn't have any problem spinning the 175's

In fact I went back multiple times to demo them because they were so much fun

Oh yeah, one negative I did notice is that the topsheet scratches easily

Damn dude, that's an old post!

I'm still trying to decide between the Mo2 and the Scott P3 (basically just waiting until I can demo the P3)

How long have you been riding your Mo2's?

how's the durability?

OAKLEY IS NOT ARMADA'S PARENT COMPANY. It is owned by the atheletes and two english guys who fronted the capital
