Has anyone ever attempted sliding the famous "El Toro" rail? Its the rail in the center of the largest stair case ollied on a skatboard looks pretty legit.

first off, heres a bit of schooling on el toro, 20 stairs n shit sonnnnnnnnnn.

as far as tricks over the stairs, don nguyen ollied it first, i think, in '01 or so. gareth stehr did back 180 circa 2003. aaaaaaand dave bachinsky, straight outta lowell, ma, kickflipped it last fall. check it in the oakley video 'our life', at the end of an unbelievable part.

as far as tricks down the rail go, a whole mess of shit has gone down. first one i remember was heath in 'the end', he did front lip. tosh feebled it back when he was good. mumford did smith i believe. ben gilley, whatever happened to that guy? well he did front 5-0. carlos ruiz did backlip, somehow, which is kinda kooky. some random did switch boardslide that no one cared about. arto did front board. herms did 5050 in a line in the emerica video credits. shane cross (R.I.P man), did overcrook last year. david gravette did back salad, pick up the free creature video to see it.

very recently, though footage hasnt been out yet that ive seen, some gnarly ams really handled it. bryant chapo did front salad, and matthew barnes did back smith.

so there you go, the history of el toro. im a goon for knowing all this, but skateboarding is cool.

i think he tried but like broke both legs or one of them or something... my friend has a picture of him in mid air after he kicked his board away over it, its nuts

it would be stupid for a skier to do that rail

nothing could be thrown to match the difficulty of the tricks that skaters have thrown down on it
