Eira is no more

Show me an article or any real evidence. Until then I'm gonna call bullshit. This could be like the time that everyone thought fatypus went under but it didn't

multiple people that were sponsored told me and were selling everything from eira they had. Eira also did not have any new stuff at sia and if you go on the site they are not selling anything from last year or this year.

Do not have article for reference yet, but can confirm truth of this.

meh, this makes me kind of glad

large corporate spinoff trying to seize a share of the already saturated skiing market

This is similar to what happened with nike and snowboarding, and i'm glad these industries speak for themselves and keep their profits in companies with their roots in the industry

This sucks for the riders, but it's good for an industry that helps support the companies that helped to found the sports

when you compare them to nike, what else does eira produce outside of the ski world? i only knew them as a b list outerwear company

They were backed and owned by, RMP athletic, who also owned Rip Zone and PWDR Room (Men's and Women's price point snowboarding clothing that was marketed to the Sport's Authority crowd) The guys who ran Eira day-in-day out were amazing guys that loved creating dope ski clothing and truly loved their sport. But, their backing was still corporate money, and in the corporate world, when your sales aren't up to expectations, the plug is pulled. RMP Athletic is mostly a Canadian distributor of major sports brands, I'm not 100% sure if they actually make anything themselves anymore. They own the Canadian distribution rights to Brooks running shoes, Fila, Teva, Umbro, Wilson, and others.

I'd say the only answer here is...
