EHP 190

i started a thread a while ago, asking the difference between madens and mojo 105s....

and then i started leanin towards the 189 seths, but i called up my local shop, and theyre sold out, but they said that i should check out the EHP 190...and he could match the price of the seth so the ski would be about 750 canadian..

just wondering how the EHPs will be able to handle tight trees, and tight chutes...i know it will rip it in the pow and the crud....

im 6 feet, 150 pounds...pretty aggresive skier, i like to charge fast, but i aslo need a ski that will be forgiving in really techy stuff.

The 06-07 EHP 190 is the 05-06 VCT 190 with new graphics. Check tetongravity.com/forums for reviews on the VCT.

as far as dimensions are concerned that is correct.

as far as materials, tooling, and workmanship that is very far from correct.

4FRNT builds in much better factories now (Elan) in Slovenia and Tunisia. As such the finished product looks/feels/skis much better than the 4FRNTs of old.

The 190 EHP will be legit bro but it is a bit unweildy in the trees. Well worth the trade off for the extra crud performance if you ask me.

im also about the same size and looking into the EHP. i dont do any tree skiing remotely. i ski all crud and open spaces, so i was even considering the 193. i dunno though, itd be a next year choice, i have no money right now. but the dimensions and material on the 190 look like a awesome mountain ski.

i think im gonna go for them...i know theyre not gonna be that turny, but my buddy who is about the same size as me, skis 191 ANTs for his everyday skis, and he can do everything from tight trees, to technical chutes, and just about everything except bumps just fine on them...and of course they rip the crud and pow...so, they might be a bit hard to throw around for a while as im geting used to them, but i think once my legs build up the strength ill be able to ski the tight trees....and i need to be able to my home resort in sunshine village (fatboy trees anyone mmmmmm)

dude i wouldnt do that...something like an SFB,Maiden,Seth, or Gotama would be a much better choice if your going to be skiing alot of trees

You'll be fine with the EHP 190s. Eric Specifically designed that ski for resort riding. And what resorts does eric ride? well sunshine and louise. The ski will be fine.

good to hear meng... im so stoked for these skis, mostly for the ripablity i will gain through crud...sure ill have to work a litle extra hard in the trees, but whatever ill get used to it, ill be headin down on saturday to put my down payment on them

good choice man. the gots would also be a strong choice, as always. those things never fail. but they were sold out like all this year. seemed like they had a shorage. anyway, im still looking into these for next year, rather ride and try these out then fall back on volkl. they dont need my business. 4frnt id much rather give m money to. gimme a pm on how they ride.
