Effects on puberty from weed.

A professional study out of Yale Universty has shown that smoking weed throughout the years of puberty can result into extremely low sperm counts.

Like I wouldn't be taking hallucinogenic drugs when the body's going through changes like that.

I guess a bunch of kids smoke, though, so whatever. I wouldn't do it myself if I was a kid...
 
dont think it does anything to puberty, but it does for sure drastically lower sperm count. so if you're planning on being a daddy stay of the wacky.
 
There really is a good chance of it though... two kids I know had it happen to them, we all make fun of them now. They only have B-cups though..
 
weed is safe and probobly better for you than eating a shit load of candy through puberty just learn to moderate, thats the most important thing: self control
 
okay weed is probably better than a lot of things like for example putting your hands in a garbage disposal. Too much will most likely fuck you up but once in a while wont do shit.
 
All I'm saying is that putting anything strange in your body regularly during puberty is a bad idea. You might not grow to your full potential.

And yes, marijuana is usually classified as a mild hallucinogen. I think this is fair- I've had mild hallucinations with it.
 
I definitely see patterns and closed-eye visuals when I get really high or smoke some extremely dank marijuana. It's classified like that for a reason. On another note, why the hell are there suddenly so many (retarded) threads on weed?
 
oh and anyone that believes that marijuana actually affects puberty and development is just buying into all that anti-marijuana wifes tales bullshit to keep it illegal. The only proven negative side effect of marijuana that I have ever come across in research is a temporary short term memory impairment.
 
im pretty sure weed is not considered a hallucinogen... are you sure youre not mistaking halluciongen for a psychoactive (which it is...)
 
Apparently weed can mess with your hormonal system if you submit to it during puberty years, and can have some weird-ass side effects.

I think some where already mentioned, growing tits(haven't heard of that 'til now, pretty amusing), dropping your sperm count, etc.

Personally I don't think you should smoke weed until you reach puberty. Nothing with physical and biological effects, just that it seems way to young to start getting into drugs. I am 19 and I started smoking at like 17

Yeah, marijuana is a hallucinogen... It just has very mild hallucinogenic effect, and THC's effect on the brain is not the same as psylocobin shrooms or LSD... Just different chemicals.

If you say it's not, then what is it??
 
oh oh , there was a semi-national study done on this in holland where the studdies were taken in about 1/3 of the holland population, and whats so grat about the study was that instead of looking at agegroups and categorizining people and effects that way. They saw what level of pubirty you were in and the effects that way. Their finings were very uniform and accurate, i was so surprised when i read the article, but pretty much all the kids going though puberty who as much as smellt pot died instantly.
 
yeah my friend started smoking weed when he was 14, he is 23 now with the biggest man tits ever, the facial hair of a 14 year old and the pair shape most fat 15 year olds have... he is in serious need of some testosterone and i think all the weed fucked him up.
 
start blazin dude... these fools will never know... its great how people STILL think marijuana is harmful... but they'll drink a case with their buddies, then drive home...
