yeah i think that ther r so many good freeride and freestyle componies out ther that elan wont be able to come close to competeing with some fo these componys like K2 or Armada or Dynastar

yea, the guy also sed that there is a little metal bar on the botom of the ski where you would normally grind. this bar was in the middle of the ski. we proceeded to tell the guy that no one slides rails on the base of the ski. so, then he told us that the bottom of the ski is actually curved, so the bar would hit while on rails. sounds like it could be the all-time worst twin tip

i think they could do it, if they just took it in somewhat of a diff direction, made something really sick, because pretty much no matter what twins you get someone else has um too- theres still a need for new twins

 
yea elan sucks ass. They had scottie myer riding for them.....the amazing ski star that only 360 and 540 tai-pans. Anyone remember him from 13? ha ha ha and they had tommy deangelo. Thats one powerful team

 
elan made a twin the same year the first 1080 came out. elan is the apple computer of the ski industry: they make all the good stuff first then everybody copies them and elan gets screwed over. their quality is probably the best in the industry maybe because they made the first practical cap ski and shaped ski designs.

im not saying, like yeah omg elan u suck ass, but im just saying yeah i think they made a twin tip at the beginning, but they stopped, and i dont think theyr really gana make a strong comeback

elan is commin gout wiht a sick twin next year.. its all black wiht green flames.. its pretty fat and hella fun to ride.. i know a buddy who has them and they are ill.. extra edge underneitheth the boot so u dont wear ur edges so fast.. FUn

I took some old Elan X Carve 5.0 's and created some homemade twins and i use them in the summer and on urban sessions and stuff they are great no complaints here

ya, elan is making twintips next year, they're called ARMADAs, hahaha, now does elan suck....ya probably, but if t-dog tanner halls rides em, i'm gonna too right?
