Leak was in the form of a youtube video. It has since been removed by the user.

To those who will ask OMG WHERE CAN I GET IT?!?:

Buy the fucking movie. Support your industry. It's not a very big one, and movie companies rely heavily on their sales to afford the costs of making it, and hopefully enough to start their film for the next year. Don't screw them over, please :)

unofficial had the balls to post the youtube link too. major uproar and it got deleted as well.

IMC isn't a PBP, it isn't a TGR, it isn't a Matchstick. They are small company with a ton of creative control and that's what makes them great. At the same time, they need much more support from fans in order to keep doing this stuff. Tanner just mentioned they want to do a sequel to EOS with Mickael next season but would seriously need the funds for it. If you are 14 and reading this and don't know who Mickael is, i suggest you read up and get a history lesson on steez. Bottom line: support them and pay the money for a digital download, it is entirely worth it

The crippldproductions people have skiing vids on their channel, so let's see if they have an NS account and have them perma/ip banned.

There was no need to "rip" anything the movie downloads to your computer in a video file that anyone in the world could upload whenever they want. Shoulda paid the fee to go directly through itunes perhaps.

This. Everyone that commented on T-halls status saying all these companies that put their movies online are missing the point by a long-shot. Those companies put those videos on the web by themselves. Not by people leaking them. Like you said, When you put in 100% of your own blood, sweat and tears into a movie, It's a stern kick in the balls when someone rips your own movie onto the internet. Just go to the premiers/buy the movies. Every skier benefits from it in the end.

Ah - but where the internet can be evil it can be good too.

If, as a community of skiers we decide that we fucking absolutely DO NOT support piracy, we can simply choose to self-police. We can choose to have control over our movies, and control over what sponsors say.

If we pay for stuff out of our own pocket, then it is not controlled by the corporate machine. When you steal, you force companies to monetize their wares by taking more sponsorship dollars, and therefore more control.

If you're willing to pay directly, then you can have projects like EOS that work. People who pirate these types of things are terrible.

Nobody should ever pirate ski movies. Sure, when you pirate in hollywood you can pretend like its a faceless rich motherfucker (might actually be this), but in skiing it isn't. These people need your help and need your support to keep skiing fucking rad as shit.

So burn pirates at the stake. Buy ski movies, and support ski companies.

Take control into the hands of the people.

Then you can just find the OG file in your itunes media folder already labeled and ready to go and upload it the same way.

yea!! support the industry! but everyone keep downloading music and other movies for free!! people can be such hypocrites

i could almost guarantee everybody that has posted in this thread has downloaded pirated music from an underground artist that comes from a label comparable to inspired media.

operating under the logic "when you pirate from corporations/individuals that are already rich it doesn't count" is ridiculous. pirating is pirating, just like stealing a car is stealing a car and killing is killing

oh dear. I agree, that was a shitty thing to do, pay the money and support inspired... but I gotta be honest here, that post was fuckin ridiculous. good stuff right there.

That's shitty, glad it got taken down. I wonder where the kid got it from in the first place. Has it been released yet?

what i get from t hall saying that is hes crying for more money. if he really wanted his movie to make a difference and influence people skiing he wouldnt care how they saw it. but by calling people out by pirating it and needing them to pay for it means he wants money for the movie. sounds like contradictions to me.

No shit, Sherlock?

Why are you calling Tanner out for this, and not every single other person out in the world who has created something, wished that other people would also experience it and also help make a living or earn some money from it by selling it, not simply giving it away?

You daft prick.

just downloaded and watched it. the skiing was sick but it could have been edited much better. iberg needs to look at what hes making before he puts it out.

i'm pretty sure it looks exactly how they wanted it to look. whether or not you like the editing style is another point entirely. the skiing is mindblowing however you look at it

I flagged this leak on youtube and to mods on here /claim. glad to see it got taken down.

i "called tanner out" for this because the thread was started about something he said. you dont need to get angry. i was simply pointing out something that i saw as being hypocritical

wish i had read all the comments first. but anyway, there is no need to go after this kid. he didnt do anything wrong on newschools, the video is gone, all the links are gone. AND INSPIRED HAD MAD CREWS EVERYWHERE YO! they can take care of it.

So it's hypocritical to make money of the fruits of one's own labor? In order for you to avoid being hypocritical, I suggest you start sending me all your future paychecks.

I know that it's unrealistic to think shit like this won't happen, but damn.

It's fucking $10. You throw away $10 daily on fucking bullshit that you won't remember or will poop out in 6 hours. Prioritize. I'd like to see Inspired prosper and succeed and continue to support innovative, progressive skiing, so I'll kick down the 10 bucks. I could've gotten it for free, as could many others, but I bought the thing to show love and support to a company/niche I believe in.

This isn't 20th Century Fox or Universal Studios. This is a company that needs each and every dollar to push on. Just consider that shit before pirating ski media. I know that my ethics regarding music, movies and media are somewhat contradictory, the hypocrisy isn't lost on me, but I see the ski community with limited resources as particularly vulnerable to the pitfalls of pirating and I consider every dollar spent well spent.

I'd love to buy it. But will only buy it if I can get a hard copy, not some itunes bullshit. I don't even have itunes and want nothing to do with it on my computer. that being said, I still won;t pirate it. I guess I'll never see Education of Style.

It's pretty embarrassing when Tanner posts shit like this on twitter, although I really need to get round to downloading this, especially at such a fair price.

youre an ass head. they said they were making this movie to show everyone in the ski world that skiing is about style. they wanted people to see that theres more to skiing than x games and dew tour shit. that its not about getting rich and being a rockstar. and then he gets upset when someone is spreading the movie out to more people. i understand it sucks to have something you worked on basically stolen from you. but you cant honestly say its not a little ridiculous for someone to preach about spreading style and love for skiing and then yell at people for not giving them money. if you dont get it then theres no point in saying anything further.

Haha as you guys keep spending all your money like idiots. Oh wait you are all upper middle class white kids. I will be watching the ripped versions, and be posting ripped versions that won't ever be taken down because if you post them on foreign hosting websites they most likely will never take them down. ENTERTAINMENT SHOULD BE FREE. The power is in the people not companys.
