how is this being judged? quality of skiing or quality of editing? or both? otherwise it might not be very fair, alex balsen is fucking rediculous so he would obviously win.

all this wouldn't really be judged just like giving comments or just props....so pretty much yea judging but with no real winner.....and it wouldn't be judged on just editing or just skiing overall impression like you would judge any other piece

wierd, when i watch mine in the timeline it starts all flashing around and shit. but when i import it, it ends out looking normal

problem with a thing like that is to 'edit' something and have the finished product you want is more than just the editing.. For instance, if you know you want to edit a 1 minute piece, you could plan your shots to fit a 1 minute piece, shoot different things that will fit in with edits you plan on doing, etc...

 
i use ulead video studio 6. no slowmotion, no fading of any kind. amazing program. on top of that, i didnt have a camera last year so all of my footage is from 2003. so in a nutshell.. best edit ever.
