Edits with unique editing styles

There are many edits out there that don't get enough respect as they should. While some edits like wallisch's superunknown vid are super fun to watch, they lack creativity. I have no hate at all for that kind of edit, i love them. I am just looking for some sick ways to edit and I'm wondering what other videos there are, that have an innovative and creative way of editing . These don't have to be skiing videos either.

This is probably one of my favorite edits that I have ever seen. So much creativity and work must have gone into it.

though i do not know of any other edits like it, i completely agree that these types of edits should get more respect, and, this one is also one of my favorite edits, went partially under the radar on NS but it was amazing, a lot of hard work and effort going into an edit like this, i'd say top 3 on newschoolers for sure, and top 5 or 10 of my favorite edits

I love edits that are creative like that. Someone needs to post another one that creative ,they are really fun to watch.

yes sir he does, just watched his 08 montage of a bunch of big named pros and comps, completely different view on everything. i was really impressed
 
I was more than impressed. I've seen sooo many top rated videos that were sick skiing, but really nothing else. Andreas doesn't even have a nice camera and his edits are more creative and better looking than most top movies coming out.
 
same here, everyone reading this should check that video out. its like watching a great movie you've seen but in a different characters point of view, he uses sick angles, and small details to really enhance the experience. if he got a bit more support, maybe a little bigger budget, and the ability to create his own set ups, there would be no competition.

Yo thanks guys for all the props it mean a lot. Keep an eye out for this season were planning on doing a lot more filming thanks for all the comments on the video too. Keep it real... Andy

I like that edit of Blake Nyman's from a few years ago. It's got a bunch of 8mm footage (I don't think it's real 8mm, probably just after effects, but it looks cool). I also like Slandis's edits a lot.

Shit, I think that makes me an emo kid.
 
some quality edits ^ magic flashlights, gnar wars and the one in black and white are so sick, amazing what those guys do and incorporate into their edits
 
what is the song in the magic flashlights edit? i've heard it a bunch...

and as far as this thread, anything landis makes. no homo
