I'm turning 27 this year and am getting seriously discouraged by all the random 12 year olds throwing dubs. Can we post up some good edits of people who are 30+???

Dude your not even that old. Wally is a year older than you.

But candied tho.

all over 30 and some of the best skiers in the world. You're fine man

ive said this too many times on here but skiing has the weirdest concept of what is old. youre 27 dude... most of the best big mtn skiers are older than you, nevermind the thousands of other sick riders way older than you. sure there are some really young park skiers but who cares? hatveit is 27 and got 4th at olympic slope, wallisch is 26 or so... just to name a couple. quit the boo hoo im old nonsense...now!

You said 'older' not old. Tommy E. is 33 which is older than you but still really young in my book.

Just to clarify I put "older" in quotes for a reason. 27 is till pretty young, but you have to admit for straight park thats the tail end.

althoug thanks for the support, skiing or no skiing i really do dread turning 30. quater life crisis.

Why is that the tail end? Is there a rule you can't ski park after you're 30? I'm 35 and ski 90% park. I do work in a park, which means I'm working when there's powder, but even if I wasn't, it would still be at least 50/50.

Whoa man, you calling me old?! Jk, but ya, I'm 28 and love the park and all other aspects of skiing. I feel like I progress more and more every year and don't plan on stopping any time soon! It's all in your head man. If you think you're old than your body responds to that, but when you have a good mentality, you stay young. I just took a trip down to NZ and skied better than ever:

The best skiers out there right now are over 30, yeah its older than the typical comp skier/park rat, but in terms of actual mental/physical performance, supposedly your early-mid 30's are supposed to be an athletes prime years. thats assuming injuries havent had a major effect, which in skiing, is pretty common.

But look at Delorme for example, IMO he is the best park skier out there right now, and he's gotta be a bit over 30 by now. Wallish, Hornbeck, some other guys im spacing, might not be old but not little kids anymore. and JP (RIP), Candide, T-Hall (despite his injuries) Pollard, Pep, etc.. some of the biggest names pushing the sport right now are well over 30.

if you are planning to live to 120, i wouldnt worry about it so much.

I think our small ski generation (current 25-30 year old's) will be a group that will ski park/charge later in life than previous generations have. I wouldn't be surprised if that carried on to the younger kids below us as well since they are all pretty insane as is.
