Alright my friends and I are making a skiing video and i have the Vegas 4.0 editing program right now but i can't figure out how to do anything on it. I can get the video on it no problem and add effects but i can't figure out how to stop the effect and also i can't add music. I was wondering what program is easier to run but still has good effects and stuff like that.

Get Final Cut Express, its not that hard and it has wayy more effects, just watch the tutorials at Apple.com and you will learn everything you need to know. If you have only PC then get Adobe Premiere and just read some shit, its not hard at all...
