Editing your threads?

Hey admins and mods, is there any way you could set it up so that we can see a preview of our threads and/or have and edit/delete option? That would be sweet, especially when you are posting to sell.

Let me know if there are ways to get around it already.
 
kinda like myspace and the fact that you change the stupid stuff you've said. Giving some people a second chance not to get ripped on.
 
what the fuck do post have to do with anything. asshole. just because i haven't spent 18,000 post of my life on the computer doesn't mean i don't ski. neville wilder has like 50 post and hes one of the best skiers i know.

Maybe people should look over their post when they do something important like sell things. Responsibility is a virtue.
 
how about when the pics are too small or don't come up like you planned. why? do you not want it? or are you just in the mood to hate on people with less cyberspace prestige than you.

NS's lack of an edit feature and the ability to delete ones own thread is part of the character of the website. Its this alone that brought you faunt and many other classics. Get over it.
 
ya i saw alot of post made by the person who designed the thread because they forgot something or their pics didn't turn out. an edit button would help with the clutter a bit.
 
it would be useful is sale threads for sure, but if its that big of an issue. Just get a mod to deletethe posts you dont like,  or the thread completely; and start a new one.
 
i think a delete option would be nice. the edit option I don't like because that way you could go back change words...then people that have already posted could be way off topic and such
 
All other forums I use have an edit and delete option and there are no problems with getting off topic. NS users will just have to chill and not post on shit like spelling errors and mistakes like that, you know try and act like a normal person.
 
not to mention the general age range of ns 12-22. Where as the other forums I use are more like 25-65 age range, a bit more mature.
 
being able to edit threads is a MUST!!! please try to add this feature in the near future. im too tired to give reasons why (even thought it is very obvious) because im too tired.
 
thats a really good idea in there actually. a preview function was what i started leaning towards after reading this, but then if you could edit and it would have some sort of ticker that showed the thread had been edited, people could see the changes so no one would get fucked, and big sales could be downsized as they sold stuff.
