for all of you that edit your videos....wut software do you guys use to do it??? there has to be a bunch out there...and wut are good and wut are bad

adobe, or if your JUST starting out, like you have no clue about anything just start with windows movie maker, just get the basics, and to learn preiere, invest 20 bucks and buy a book/cd combo that will teach you about it, its much easier.

I hear that, Premiere is the besth out ther its wha the pros like matchstick and PBP use. But its more time consuming and the files that are saved at the end are huge. Werd

Final Cut Pro is hands down industry standard. Premiere has always been known as a FCP wanna be. Just about any pro shop is either going to be using FCP or Avid. Both of these are available in either "express" or "lite" versions that are geared toward home users.

pros use Avid or Final Cut. All video files are huge if you don't compress them. It doesnt matter what program you use.

I wish I could use Final Cut but I have windows :-( so I have Pinnacle 8.0 but it isn't that good so don't get it for good software.

not true. Im not sure about msp, but PBP uses Final Cut I'm pretty sure, cause they run macs, Im pretty sure. and most hollywood movies like Sin City and Fight Club run a studio version of Avid that isn't available to the public, Im pretty sure.

Can you two stop hating eachother??? i know sketchline have stopped, can you andrew? the fact is, your edits are pretty equal... don't have so good confident andrew, no one likes people saying stuff like "cause I could make better edits with movie maker" not even if it's true. cause it's bragging, and hating at one time. and thats like the two worst things in the world next to wars and one foot slides

final cut and premiere arnt bad but final cut keeps the footage digital while premiere cuts it to analog then back to digital. Final cut allows for easier titling and add-ins like live type and images

premiere pro 1.5 is very similiar to final cut, which is strange because as soon as preimere pro came out adobe stopped making preimere for macs. hmmmm......
