It makes no difference, most editing suites and packages have both mac and pc verisons.

If ur buying a computer just for editing buy a mac... well it depends on how much money you got. correct me if I'm wrong but mac g5 is basically the best comp for editing you can get, o and with final cut. I love final cut!!

how much is final cut to buy w/o the mac, cuz i have a mac w/ iMovie but iMovie ain't the greatest

I saw it(FCP) in a mag for like 1500, its almost more economical to by a power mac for $2000 and see if you can get the software from you local school or bootleg it of the internet, thats what i did
