Editing Programs

i need a pretty good editing program

at this time i do not have a lot of money to spend so im not buying one

so my question is

what is the best editing program that i can download or torrent in your opinions

The trails is the same as the one you buy. Vegas Pro and Premiere Pro CS3 are your best bet.
