Editing program

so i have been doing some work with old footage, and was wonderin what programs some of you are using? if you are fond of a program thats kinda cheap and has some ok performance please let me know.

i have sony vegas 9.0 and it is decent. really easy to use once you know the basics (just like any other editing program)

you using pc or mac?

Im running a pc now but i am looking to buy a mac in the near future.

iv got windows movie maker but you cant do that much with it, well i wont a bit more to work with

i have imovie 08, which is probably one of the most basic video editing programs, but looking to upgrade to imovie 11, which sounds a lot better

i also have vegas pro 9.0 i had 7 for almost a year and i hated it. but 9 is A LOT better.

if your just getting into it, the sony vegas series is good.otherwise get adobe premiere pro
