Editing program for vista

so i had to bu a new computer recently because my other one literally fell apart, so now im stuck with vista which i am not a fan of. ever since then mt adobe premier elements 4 isnt working even tho the box says it is compatable with vista. after reading numorus threads online about the problems i have come to the conclusion that it just does not work on vista and adobe wont admit it.

so i come to you ns to find a editing program that will work on vista (that you have had experience with and know it works would be great!). i dont edit alot so something simple and not too expesive....somewhere under 100. thanks guys!!

i dont know why vista has such a bad rep, the only thing i dont like about it is a couple features got pulled like managing file extensions. I use all the CS3 programs (premiere, afterFX) and they work fine

I bet that statement is based on your inexperience with this OS and you follow others satements.
