Edit Length?

I was wondering how long my edit should be. i have around six minutes of good, usable footage. Not many good songs for edits are that long. Should i just take the best of the best or should I make a long edit?

Since you are the guys who watch 'em I want your opinion.

Usually 2-3 minutes then I start to get bored, unless its really banger footy

2-3 minutes is pretty prime for normal edits. If it is your average GoPro footage with fairly average tricks it gets dull after a songs length so I'd leave it at that. If it is sweet dslr footage of banger tricks then I would maybe make it two songs worth.

Split it into two 3 minute edits both with a different music style to your liking

I agree with the 2-3 minute range, sometimes it just drags out after that unless its really good

If half the shots aren't as fun to watch as the other half, then just make one with the better shots. Just keep in mind that people won't watch a bad edit whether it's 1 minute or 6.
