Edit Feedback! +K for help!

ive been trying to make better edits as i figure out new things in final cut pro x. just made this edit after 2 days of filming. tell me what you think.

Try to get closer with the camera. Also, if you use a trick on a certain feature once, don't use almost the exact same shot over again. But I thought it was a good start. Keep it up!

I like how its at ski sundown, and you're skiing at sun down! haha and pretty good man, but yeah work on the CC and get closer with the shots. Also try filming on bluebird or fairly sunny days, it makes the clips look a lot better on the Go Pro.

You guys are pretty good. Just have to work on your style, but that comes with practice and buying XXXXXXL gear.

As the others said, get closer with your shots, and experiment adjusting the color balance.

if you cut the video so that every rider has his own part it will come out better. I also agree on all points mentioned above...

the skiing and filiming is fine, what you should do is get rid of or shorten the wierd intro and choose a better song, seriously that song was awful other than that it was a decent edit.

Lose the weird intro, intros are lame.

Definitely get closer and experiment with different camera angles. Try and avoid repeat tricks on the same features if you can.

And find a song that doesn't make people want to die.

over all it was pretty decent, just keep at it.

film burns are over used, definitely a no-go for next time. as everyone else said, just get closer and film during the day, not at dusk. looks like you're having fun out there, keep it up.

and tell the kid in the blue jacket to stagger his feet when he rides switch, its sooo much easier and looks way cleaner.

yeah like the others said get closer. especially with the gopro. I found that the best shots come from follow cams, try that out it's a great way to get shots on the move and you don't have to stop of wait or anything..

Sundown! I liked the edit. Skiing was good and song choice was good. I'd just try to get a little closer with the camera. But other than that it was pretty good

If I were you I'd probably refrain from any sort of underground/unpopular rap unless you have some fucking banger shots. Not 12 year old skiers doing sloppy 2's and claiming 180s. No offense to the skiing, but the music choice wasn't correct

nice skiing bro.. It has been said lots before, but i have to agree. some good skiing but song choice was wrong.

Also try and film on bluebird days so you get some good light, makes everything look better

Thats what I was gonna say haha. anyway you guys are pretty good. I thought that maybe some of the shots were like you riding into the feature for like 5 seconds rather than a clip of you just hitting it and moving on to the next shot. Wasn't a huge fan of the song but yeah it was pretty nice.

An easy way to make edits look better is to cut a clip at the beat of the song. For instance, the person can do the roll up, stomp the trick, then ride away and then you can cut the clip on the fourth beat. Other then that it's a great edit. Just keep having fun!
