This is a joke, right? If not, I have a hard time believing you have traveled in the last five years. In case you haven't noticed airports don't use metal detectors anymore, they use those things that can tell if you have something hidden in your pockets, hair, or nuts. I can't get through security with a piece of gum in my pocket. This is the worst option I have read in this entire thread.

Brought some cheeba chews to eat on my 6 hour flight to Costa Rica. Got past security and shit was golden. The takeoff and landings were oddly comfortable.

Its so stupidly easy to bring edibles through the plane seriously. I do it every time and I hide them in plane sight bro. The tsa has handled my snack bag and in my snack bag there are usually a few edibles but it just looks like a bag with bananas, a cookie, 2 brownie bites, and rice crispy treat mixed in with trail mix.Then thats packed with a sandwich so it looks like a snack bag.
It looks like food and really no one can tell from just looking at a food item that it has thc, and I never see dogs smelling cary on bags. Even if the dog does find the edibles the TSA will likely think the dog is wanting to eat your food. And like I said earlier I have never seen drug dogs at the security points.
Just don't leave the edibles packaged in a weed obvious wrapper.
I have had bag searches with edibles in my bag and they take out my snack bag with the edibles in it and think northing of it at all.

The only reason I brought edibles through security is I arrived early for my flight and I thought my edibles would ware off over the 6 hour flight, but I was wrong and they got me stoned as fuck through the whole flight and hour drive to my final destination.
In my opinion if you bring anything weed related through a security point. Edibles are the sneakiest and best way to go if anyone goes that route.
I do agree that bringing edibles just to have back home is a waste, because you can make the same stuff in your home quite easily and you can make them much more potent.

Really not worth it but do what ever you want people just don't bitch on here if you get in trouble for trying to smuggle your shitty brownies or whatever on the plane.

i have a friend who literally just put weed in his pants on a flight home from south carolina to maine. it came up on the xray, they patted him down but let him go because he was pretty young and terrified. He got extremely lucky but i wouldnt even suggest doing it man.

So much greenery is mailed to the east coast it would baffle people if they knew how much. Also, so many comedians on podcast discuss their edible usage/bringing with them on airplanes. I know this is an old thread but for anyone wondering, now you know.
