Edges

Salomon 1080, about 6 inches of edge missing directly underfoot. Is there anything I can do to make these skis last longer? I do rails and stuff btw.

did the same thing to me with volkl dogens
I finaly choose to buy new ones and take the volkls to the streets

1080's really suck. If you had a ski made of wood you could maybe screw in a new section of edge, but you have a ski made of foam, not good for this. You can try to epoxy a piece of edge back in,but I doubt it will last very long if you ride rails with them. You can try to snap them at the binding holes and see if they warranty them, then sell the new ones and get something more rugged, thats what I did with my 1080's, unless they are too old. Sorry dude sounds like you may have to buck up for some new sticks.
