can edges stay on skis for longer than a year? i think its about time ski companies start figureing something out.
 
i have volkols from 3 years ago and they still have their edges... and i beat the hell out of those things
 
maybe, PH, its cuz you ride rossi? (assuming from scratch pic).. maybe choosing a more core twin tip company would have better results for you?
 
All the big companies don't care... They want them to fall off, so you buy more skis. I have had ARV's that I have beat up a lot and they have never come out.
 
^^they care, if they make a crapy ski you wont come back for more, yes they want you to buy new skis all the time, but they want you to but their skis, they want your repeat buisness, if they make a crapy ski then you prob wont come back
 
it's funy though because an inside industry magazine SKI Press World published a story about how rossi is focusing on becoming a mid level company. It was given out at the vegas show. hmmm, rossi is mid level on purpose now.
 
Looking at the newbc and pro prices, the mid-level thing will be tough, Rossi does like to put out expensive shit, wonder how they will get over that.
 
I heard dynastar is doing some serious R&D on getting their edges to not explode, they say they fix it every year.
