This year i'm getting my first pair of twintip skis, and so i'm most definitely gonna be attempting rails. I've never really tried anything other than boxes, so i don't know much about it.

what i want to know is what about the edges of your skis? do you guys like file them down all rounded and stuff? if so, do you just do it under the boot? because even though i'm gonna be hittin rails, i still want to be able to blast mach speeds and be able to ski all-mountain without much problem. help me out.

the fucking process of you edges happens gradually by itself, but you should sorta maintain your edges...just dont worry about making them very sharp, unless you will be riding pipe

I just sharpen all the ski but under the foot, seems to work pretty well

i pretty much just wax my skis cuz i like the nice smooth edges I have under foot for rail and i don't want some shop fuckin up my hard work. but they still ski just fine on everything else and rock big mtn they suck on ice cuz of the lack of egde but ice sucks anyways

Work is like anti-hippie spray; they stay the fuck away from it

yea dude it totally matters where your gona be skiing at, in the west edges arn't that big of a deal b/c it's always powder or packed powder you'll be skiing. East is a diff story. But then again I'm not an expert at any east coast shit.

I think Anthony Boronowski in general is just a phase.
