How can I get a few inches of my edge on my underfoot fixed? It is missing about 2 or 3 inches. I want the skis to be fully ridable without paying for a new pair.

You can't reinsert a missing edge. The best you can do is seal the missing piece w/some heavy duty epoxy to prevent delams and make the missing spot your outside edge.

Otherwise, call up the manufacturer and see if they have the same ski in a warrantied pair. Most people send both skis back when they warranty and one ski is usually fine. Dynastar's done that a bunch of times for me.

You could put two screws in to keep it in place. I wouldnt really suggest it, just keep it out and epoxy like the guy above me said.

ahahaha!!

You actually CAN have missing edge reinserted. Just go to a competent shop. I had it done on my Made'ns...I blew out about 2 inches of the edge and ripped some of the base. They did a base weld, and replaced a ~3 inch section of the edge. Pretty much as good as new. There are 2 seams of course, where the new edge meets the old edge, but if you have a good tech that will hardly matter. It only cost around 40 bucks as well.

Yep, I've had it done before to. If your going to be jibbing on these skis its not worth it though just seal them with epoxy.

I'm pretty busy might be able to Habu

what ya got?

FYI from what you described you would be looking at a minimum of $50 at most shops No side wall damage? I'll give ya a chunk of edge and tell ya how to do it if your broke or don't have any tradeable skills.
