I've been searching around this site and Havent seen any Mentions of "Edge of Never"
The story of Kye and his father Trevor. Its based on a book wiht the same title that I just bought on amazon. From the looks of it they began filiming it for a movie but lacked some funding. Seems theyre back on track now and are shooting for a 2009 release. Anyone have anymore info on this?

wow. Such an inspirational story, kye is the man. I'm definitely picking up that book. I really hope they can get the funds to finish up the film, just from the youtube video, it seems like it really captures what it means to be a skiier. Props to whoever is involved in that project.
 
there's an article for it in the current powder mag. it was intended to be a movie, but then sony got involved and changed the movie into what is now called "steep". or something like that.
 
Ya sony got side tracked with Steep but i thought they still wanted to make this. Amazon shipped my copy of Edge Of Never today, cant wait to read it
 
I was listening back to one of the old NS Radio shows a couple of weeks ago. Eric Iberg was interviewed and he talked about filming some of the shots for Edge of Never. He said about taking Kye up and skiing the same route that his Dad got killed on. Pretty intense. I'd be so interested to see that footage.
