Edge help?

i just got a dakine edge sharpener, the green one that holds a stone to sharpen the edges. how do i use it? also whats the difference between the two sides, one has only straight grooves and the other has grooves going in both directions?

throw away what ever kind of file you have now because is sounds fucked up.

Get either a pansar file which has big teeth and takes off a lot of edge or get a normal file.

If you want your edges even sharper that get a dimond stone.

is it better to sharpen everything except underfoot? does that help with normal skiing?

Don't sharpen the underfoot but put it on the edge and push down lightly and go up and down.

what the fuck triple post??? w/e start sharpening 2inches in front of the binding and 2 inches behind the binding leave everything else dull
