Edge cracks

1 turned into 6 before i noticed, didn't detune well enough... am i gonna be good for the rest of the season? (killington so like now-june) wouldnt be too pissed if they shit the bed bc wets are relatively cheap and i have extra pivots but im not tryna ride my pow skis in the park the rest of the season.

same happened to me with mine, i was proud of myself to have my first edge crack and then like one more session later i had 5 of them

same thing happened on my giver's..had one the other day and then 4-5 later in the week

It will happen. Just as the edge starts to peel out fill it with epoxy and remove the falling out edge and the skis will last. For me I usually only get like a month out of my park skis before I start to lose some edge.

Same happened on my wets. I used j b weld but it just fell out in a day or two

I think edge cracks are overrated in “killing a ski” my ARV-Tis had 10 edge cracks on both skis and they lasted another 5 years.

You should be fine. My Prodigy 1.0s had multiple cracks like 20 days in. I have at least 200 days on them now and a piece about 1/8th of an inch has pulled out so far. They ski fine. Just bring them in to dry out at night to mitigate the effects of any moisture that might be getting.

That's normal and unavoidable when u ski rails

This what does ruin skis is when water gets in and separates the edge from the ski and delams the layers .
