Economics ... who's good at it?

I'm writing a paper on John Maynard Keynes and fiscal policy.

Anyone recently studied this? Any help would be appreciated.

keynes argued that the capitalist economy must expand to survive. economic expansion requires spending by both consumers and investors. without such spending, the economy could stagnate at low levels of productivity and employment, as was the case with the 1930s. according to keynes, what caused the great depression was a decline in both investments and consumption as markets for producer and consumer goods reached saturation. simply put, not enough income was being distributed to sustain consumer purchasing power and to encourage expansion and development.
