Economic Crisis Solution = Beer

Retirement Plan_* If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel

stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have $16.50 left of the original

$1000.

With WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Delta Air Lines

stock you would have $49.00 left.

If you had purchased United Airlines, you would

have nothing left.

But, if you had purchased $1000.00 worth of beer one

year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for

recycling, you would have $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice

is to drink heavily and recycle.

This is called the 401-Keg Plan

almost that exact same thing is posted on the bathroom wall at the Dam Brewery in Dillon, CO.

Honestly what the fuck are you talking about this time.

Option 1: Enlighten all of us with your extensive knowledge of Keystone Light and recycling procedures for such.

Option 2: Shut the fuck up, it's a joke, and you're not that smart even though you act like it.

End Rant

In reality it would be $75 which is still more than all the examples, which validates the joke. Laugh, move on, stop being an a-hole all the time.

1000 dollars

30 pack of keystone = about 13 bucks if you're not in utah

1000/13=77

77x30=2310

Now, if you get 5 cents a can its 115 dollars, 10 cents a can is 231 dollars. But I'm not sure where you get 10 cents a can, i know you can get 5 cents though.

They give us shitty beer then nothing back, great system. Utah actually has a pretty poor recycling program.

i'm guessing they used a lot of the recycled cans for inputs in the automobile industry, but now that it is imploding infront of our own eyes I imagine the demand for recycled cans in michigan will drop significantly so that likely wont last for long.....

that was a pure guess as to why you got more $$ back for cans in michigan... was i right?

I don't know if that is why but I highly doubt it will drop. In my opinion every state should have a deposit and every state should be 10 cents.

every state that you can turn in cans for cash, you pay the extra 5 cents or 10 cents per can when you buy it, so you actually get no money back if you recycle, and lose money if you don't.

so plan is invalid

Unless you live on the boarder of two states with opposite programs (one give syou money back, one doesnt).

you could then argue that you would be wasting gas thus making up for the cost

unless you walked

invest in beer companies as well. my buddy did that for a business class and he and one other kid were the only ones who turned a profit. beer is the way to go my friends.

all the cans that are sold in-state (maine from my experience) have shit in the barcode so they only accept the cans you buy in-state for a refund. they think of these things, you're fucked no matter how you go about it
