Eclipse Segment from REALTIME...

Eclipse is a snow park on St. Mary's Glacier in CO. It's not open to the public, and there are no lifts. The town doesn't want it built up even though it used to be a ski area.

sorry for this folks, aspen is slightly off. st. mary's, which isn't a glacier, it's an alice. and eclipse is a valley over.

It will be a million times better than echo should it happen. Not to mention they will have a half decent vert.

Does anyone here remember when Level1 used way better music in their movies? Sorry to bring it up, but the song in this segment is terrible (personal opinion, which I'm entitled to) and really killed it for me.

DL Incognito "Anticipation" - in Forward

Tribe Called Quest "Can I kick it" - in S6

Masta Ace, Z-Trip, and Bounty Killler in LSS

and pretty much the entire soundtrack from Strike 3 were better than anything in Real Time. What happened?

So please Level1, pick better music for TURBO! I'm sooo stoked to see it and don't want to be let down beacuse of such a lame reason! I'm not saying use more DL, but get away from the crappy euro shit, there's plenty of better music out there.

so you're saying you like hip hop and only hip hop...mmmkay. pb+j "the chills" in wileys segment

was amazing.

Yeah, I liked the music in Realtime, just because it's not hip hop and completely to your taste doesn't make it bad.

I take that last statement back. I wouldn't even say I only like hip-hop. Those were just a few examples of the music that helped shape my taste in ski movies.

I'm just not into the shit in RealTime. I thought Wanderland had one of the best soundtracks from any movie last year and it only had one (maybe two) hip-hop tracks.

In my opinion, all of the music was perfect in Realtime, I watch it over and over, Berman does a great job with music flow and he really does have my loyalty. Stoked for Turbo.

"Eclipse Snow Park occupies Anchor Gulch, the little bowl that forms the

drainage for Silver Creek just 1/3 mile from the Glacier itself."

I'm really pumped for Turbo! I really hope they have a trailer out soon.

And I really liked the music in Realtime, especially the track they used for the urban segments in Denver.

Finding music is more complicated than saying "that songs dope lets use it". Once you find a good song you have to make sure it hasn't been used in any ski/snowboard movie. You also have to keep an eye on lyrics, and most importantly you have to get the rights from the label. Some tracks can be a couple grand to license 1 song and this is our number 1 barrier.

If we tried to find a song to "please everyone" we'd still be looking, because its impossible. Anyone have suggestions i'd be stoked on your input.

there is a BNQT episode dropping within the next few days which is a behind the scenes of Eclipse and the Level 1 park shoot this past year

while wallisch did nail the 450, he landed very low on the box. The angle of the 450 from behind is legit, but the shot from the front in which wallisch lands about half way down the box is a shot of a strait air to the box.

While this looks goo, it dissapoints me that Berman "touched up" an already dope shot.

After watching it again you appear to be right.

I expected that from Poor Boyz or MSP, but not Level 1. That is pretty shitty.

That does make Delorme's that much more baller though, since even Wallisch couldn't land a clean one.

Shame on you Level 1.

Yo I totally understand that, it is really hard to legitimately license music. And isn't cheap. I was just trying to compare the sick soundtracks from past Level1 movies to RealTime, there's quite a difference in music styles. I want the old style back! I'm still going to by TURBO next season regardless because I like what you guys do, so don't get me wrong I'm not hating on Level1 whatsoever. Your movies are always packed with some epic skiing, no doubt about that.
