Echo mountain?

I might be transferring to CU boulder next year and need some help. I really want the breck/keystone pass but dont want to drive 2 hours to ski. what do you think of echo mountain or eldora instead? thanks

lolol no. its not that bad of a drive up to key nd breck. it only sucks when it snows on weekends. otherwise jsut sack up nd do it

Without traffic you can make it to breck and key in an hour and ten minutes. during the winter it can get to two hours but well worth the drive rather than going to fucking echo... That place is a joke.

echo is practically like a midwest ski hill. pro-tip: get up early for the drive and you will be rewarded with a shorter drive time. wake up late on a sat snow day and be prepared to sit in traffic for 4+ hours

Yeah from Boulder its kind of a hike. If you have places to stay up in summit county on the weekends that helps a ton.

Echo is fun to mess around on but you would not be happy skiing only that everyday.
