Echo mountain park!

It's hard to believe that they would have enough snow. I know they have snow makers, but with the warm weather we are having I'm suprised it doesnt all melt.
 
seriously though... a mountain with just rails and shit, man, kinda gay...i think it will blow ass, but nonetheless i will prolly check it out just to say i have been to a new ski area
 
yeah i usually spend all day in the park anyway unless theres powder, so why not go to a place thats all one park and no gapers to ruin it? then you can go to other mountains when there is powder.

chadatbreck, echo respects your opinion of 'front range pussys' etc etc, but echo isn't really meant for people like you anyway, we're just trying to progress the industry and keep it fun at the same time, keep up the positive attitude...
 
well i pretty sure i live on the front range, ski in the park more than not, and i manage to ski quite well outside of the park.
 
im glad this place is opening , hopefully it will thin out the park at copper. and yes i think slowly i am begining ti think this place wont last. good luck with it, but i cant see it working
 
alot of people dont think because its an all park mtn...and there are so many parks already, its going to be hard to bring in alot of money, they seem to have good customer service tho, and it seems as if the owner stands behind the mtn with a good amount of passion, so i think it'll survive

If you ever see me, I'll be on new Liberty Stealths and mainly in the pipe, then come up and introduce yourself..then you'll find out.
 
I rode there on Friday. One run open right now that is pretty long, fun with good flow. C box to flat box/small jump option to longer c box to double picknick table/double barrel rail option to small jump/mail box rail (flat slight down) option to rainbow box. Tons more is there just not set up. Drive from Denver is easy and the lodge is super chill with sick art. I am stoked, get up there and check that shit.
 
Sounds sick...i know they are just checking shit out this year and didnt start making snow early, but are they going to rock a pipe and decent hits next year>?
 
yeah im definatly gonna go there in a couple weeks when they get more stuff set up. i sure hope this place stays, its such a good idea, its just gonna be hard to compete with keystone and brecks park.
 
they will compete for sure! This is ALL they are focusing on and they have the right companies building their stuff too. Plus it will be a totally different vibe than big resorts very chill and everyting focused on our age, interests and more...video games, chill lounge areas...I am pretty psyched
 
are there many people up there. i drove past it on sunday night just to see and didnt have my skis and there were like 5 cars there. is it always like that at night?
