thinking of heading up somehwere and hiking a park/lumps of snow, most likely strapon or okemo...but lets try to make this a "which closed EC parks are still hikeable/hittable"...

-how melted/fucked are EC jumps?

-when were you at _____ and how melted were the jumps (strapon, okemo, WV, Mt snow would cover most bases)

-anyone down for setting up a rail at strapon if everythings gone?

i dont know about southern VT, but the bush is gone basically. but i bet stowes park is up and not too bad.

i'd rather hike whats left of a jump and try corks, than hit rails...as long as "whats left of the jump" is actually big enough to be fun (even if we have to build up the jump)

last resort is killy: "Late-season park is OPEN on Lower Skyelark with a 28-foot Down Box, 28-foot Single Bar and a Down-Flat-Down Box. "

does stowe have booters and other such goodies, and how are they holding up? i still wanna ski reaaalll bad

i was at stowe yesterday and the park was not open even though the webite said it was, and the entrance was roped off. but poaching was easy. There were 2 ok jumps but i wouldnt expect them to last because of the melting.

Sunday River's Remnants of there superpark has so much snow and a crue of people could easily setup rails and maybe construct a stepup .... i plan too soon

i was there sunday, they still have a good amount of snow, and plenty of small jumps to pile up and make the one at the end bigger. the last too are of decent size, def enough to work with. but they really lacked on rails, they really only had boxes set up and of the rails set up half of them were way to sketchy to hit

pretty sure that every place listed above is closed now except for killy and stowe, sugarbush may be open still but probably really bad

hike and huck is may 6th, there will be enough snow for a jump i think, and prob some rails, should be sick, too bad i have sats that day

all killy had was a dfd box a down rail and a down box in a staircase setup. They're all setup pretty steep too. Some kids built a kicker on the side which was ok until they groomed it but thats it as of this weekend.

closed now.

and what's up at stowe?...that one link to the video didn't work, and i'm wondering if they even have any rails set up or anything.

Hike and Huck is on May 6th still, on the page it says no matter what the weather it will be on the 6th and if nothing else theyll have a rail garden. unfortunately today was the last day of riding over there, but all the jumps got too soft to hit by 1:00 anyways. they had 3 rails, a roundstock and 2 flatstock, two of them were down and one elevator.. they also had a trap, 2 small jumps, a medium jump, and two medium/large jumps with a trap box, a frame box, and a flat box

i dunno im hikin okemo this thurs if they boot me i may go to killy there will surely be some snow somewhere, just drag some rails and boxes around have some fun

my bad on not posting how okemo was. it was super sweet. we hiked twice. including last weekend. we had a random little jump that you could 3 and 5 but you could make a bigger one for sure using the deck of the pipe as the inrun then then back as the landing. I think we may be goin up again. theres def places where a pretty big jump could be madfe and hit. last time we just set up a random round rail like 15-20 ft long set it a lil up and seshed. could 450 off it sw up. very good day. I think we mayyy be up on sun but we may just hit my carpet setup if its lookin good message me if ya wanna know mo.
