the thing with a lot of these is you have to remember that somebodys going to be wearing it- shirts arent solid 2D. most of the graphic is going to be around the waist and lower and be distorted like when you sit down and stuff. also, really detailed stuff (even the ones i already said i really liked) tends to look a little cheesy once its actually screen printed on a shirt. think of those like matchbox truck shirts little kids wear.

yea i kept the fact that it was going to be screen printed in mind. Im actually glad you pointed it out. Although mine are detailed, they are all thresholded and posterized. That is, all the shapes are rather solid and while it gives detail, it doesnt use gradients or anti aliasing. I think the main thing is to not have gradients or too photo-realistic elements. Two tone elements are great. If you look at threadless.com or like designer shirts from Armani, A|X, or Deisel, you'll notice a lot use photographs that have been converted to none halftoned two tone images. Using negative space looks good i think. I also tried to keep in mind the shape of a shirt is going to be 3d so i planned acordingly. If any of my designs look a bit low on the shirt, its because when you wear it, your chest comes out and lifts the design up a bit. Also, the area directly to the left and right of the neck hole will be facing the ceiling not the viewer. I also left the back plain as a lot of people will be rockin hoodies and jackets. I put the logo down low so if youre rocking XXXXL Tall, maybe, just maybe, the logo will stick out.

i have a feeling that im going to get no votes becasue i have no color, but if i do win(doubtfull) i have to scan it and add color

^not to sound critical but its also impossible to produce cuz it has gradients and transparency. Try to remove them.

I am definitely impressed with these. Holy shit.

Sign language is still my fave so far. But damn! Keep up the creativity. I would wear most of these shirts, for sure.

Haha here is a rather trendy shirt. Not my style nor any of yours prob. Maybe girls will like it? I think the hipsters will like it. I hand drew the cartoon then colored it in illustrator

yep in the process of deleting it now...

haha just messin with you.

seriously though, are my shirts steezy enough for you? Not two spinny, not too flippy, not too off axis, not too laid back, not too after-bangy?

haha jk

here's another go at it, I made a new version with a bc booter instead of the rail

It's not that it's too trendy it's more HIPSTER.

and everyone knows HIPSTERS don't ski.

They're too busy getting wasted on tuesday night, shopping at consignment shops, and generally pretending they are society's rebels.

All of which is really LAME.

Azn Azn this shit's BLAZIN!

but 'camon, most of us look ghetto, without even tryin'. Uhhhh, WORD,

and jumister5889is no exception:

"Um does this instructor jacket come in XXL?" -ju

"You look more like a medium to me." Jim(ski instructor, lover of nerd skis, and a big fat gaper)

"Well what about XL then" -ju

"Here's a medium try it on." -Jim

"Yeah these pants aren't gonna make the cut, how about a large?" -ju

"Yeah you're definately a medium, you're lucky we don't have any smalls left." -Jim

" Yo what'ev is the park open yet?" -ju

"Oh, you mean the Terrain Park? You don't snowbord do you? Anyway the mini park is open -just make sure you wear a helmet." -Jim

"Oh good I've gotta work on my 27 on to pretzel 27 out, blindside switch up, and start stomping my invert 7s." -ju

" Next!" -Jim

you are an IDIOT. jesus.

oh, and that 'face it, spring is here' better win. its super original, doesnt have any dripping involved (thank god), and most importantly, it would work on a shirt...most of these really wouldnt.

i think all my designs would work on shirts. Not like a regular fitting shirt you'd wear around or to school but more like an XXL shirt you'd wear skiing. I would DEF rock the portrait one myself while skiing. I dig two tone screen printed photo realistic portrait shirts.

the only thing is that the average screen used for screen printing couldn't handle the designs cause the designs are too big. screens usually aren't that big. the average screen printer has screens that are about 24" x 12". i am sure there are screen printers out there who have big screens but usually the screens aren't that big

yea but you dont have to print it all at once. You can print half of it, then print the other half of it. But im pretty sure most places these days have giant screen printers like the size of shirts.

so like this?

On a side note, i really like these portrait ones. I think they could turn out to be some really dope tees especially in an XXXL but in regular sizes too! pleeeaaasseee let this one win!

i can do that as long as its one of ec's logo's, don't want to rip off other people, unless they're cool with it. Where can I find it?

you're retarded. the splattered paint designs started YEARS ago on "hipster" band t shirts and it somehow permeated the whole gangster style....and now splatter designs are played. also, if you saw how i dressed half the time, you'd probably call me a hipster. oh.

A. that looks like one of those shirts from american eagle or abercrombie thats supposed to be funny

B. all my non skier friends are telling me that lately and its not fun.

Dammit!!! I was gonna make a chain one haha!!! One suggestion though. I'd move the ec headwear script from the bottom cuz it will look really awkward on a T shirt. Move it to where normal writing is on a shirt like nipples area and put it under the chain. itd look awesome.

just some suggestions.
