i just put a bid on an item for fun, won it, and now i dont want it. if i just dont pay for it wat will happen?

u might want to talk to the guy who sold it and ask to not buy it. i did that once when i bid on a camera then realized i made a mistake. i told him and he took me off the bid. no harm done. but my bid was only there for like 5 minutes and it was still going for a few days so it may be different for you.

you know when you placed that bid and it said that you are entering a legally binding contract to purchase the item should you be the high bidder? yeah that pretty much sums it up. jackass. i hope clamydia-infested frogs invade your home.

talk to the guy. If he says 'im gonna report you to ebay' dont fuck around. That'll ruin any other transaction you ever do on ebay. If he doesnt co-operate and its an inexpensive item send him half the cash and tell him to be happy

 
send the guy 20 bucks via paypal and ask him just to relist it. tel him to use the 20 bucks to relist and keep the rest as an apology

but yeah, most guys are understanding, or they will actually ship to other countries if you ask nicely,

me, living in canada, guys say ship to u.s only, but if you ask, most of the time they'll be 'sure, yeah, it might cost a couple bucks extra in shipping, but no problem'

irotate has the best idea. If the item is worth alot, he doesnt want to ship and he's not leting you off tell him you'll give him the money to re-list the object or talk to whoevers bid you beat. They might still be interested in purchasing the item...
