yeah, this has prolly been posted about 24 times before, but i couldn't really find it in the search. Does anyone know how ski companies are with warrantying crap that you buy off ebay. like, there are always the old original Armada AR5s, but i dunno if they would warranty them if they break. if you have had to deal with this or have any info, you're rad.

thats a great question actually and i just bought brand new libertys off of ebay and asked liberty whether their warranty would cover it or not, and they said anything bought off a online community they cannot warranty, they said u need proof of purchase from a registered liberty dealer, i got that so i think thats what u would need too

yeah. line would not warranty my motherships because i got them off ebay. sometimes you'll see authorized retailers selling on ebay, so maybe if you bought from one of those guys and told the RA lady you bought from them, you might be ok.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.

in this auction it says the "warranty card" comes with them.... dunno what that really means, but i think i'm gonna do it anyway.

That means it comes with the registration card. You fill it out, send it to the company, and they have you under warranty. This way warranties are taken up with the company not with the seller.

NO warranty - but with an exception. You need proof of purchase (from an actual dealer) about 95% of the time, unless youre a shop employee, sometimes there less stringent.

ONLY way around it. Some sellers on ebay are actual shops just selling out the rest of their inventory. If thats the case, and theyre an OFFICIAL dealer, then you can most likely get the warranty. Ask first, and definitely ask them to put an invoice along with the skis.
