Eating Lunch at the Mountain

maybe get a job so u can afford to make yourself a sandwich for all of about $4.

i cant believe someone said leftovers lol. dudes paying for skis, gear and a lift ticket or season pass and is scavenging peoples food! thats insane, disgusting and embarrassing.

prolly reuses condoms too

Your logic is flawed. The reason I can't afford other stuff is BECAUSE I ski. I make a finite amount of money in a year, so if I have to buy the stuff you mentioned, that leaves less money for food.

Oh and I did have a sandwich the day I scavenged. A somewhat warm slice of pizza just sounded a lot better than a smooshed PB&J at the moment. I'm an opportunist.

2 pages later and still no one has helped out out? No worries. PS- crepes are fucking orgasmic

Haha I used to do this at Breck.

I also used to walk around the grocery store, eat a bunch of shit, stash the empty bags or whatever, and leave. A bro's gotta eat.

I usually make a buffalo chicken wrap or sandwich and stash my lunch at the top lodge at Snow when i go. Carinthia has this retarded "no outside coolers or lunches in lodge" policy, while barely anyone enforces it i still like chillin at the top so i can get a fun lap all the way down

This is just stupid.

It's not a matter of not being able to afford it, it's not wanting to pay the ludicrous prices at the resorts. If I offered you a stick of gum for $3, you'd probably say, "fuck you very much" and go buy a whole pack for 99 cents and just keep your own gum. Sure, I can AFFORD to buy a $9 shit ass cheeseburger and a $3 coke, but no, I'm going to just make my own lunch and skip the stupid ass prices and crowds.

Why do people like you even come on this thread without anything useful to contribute? Your name and attitude combined make you a complete poser. You have a job, good for you. I also have a grownup job I got with my college degree, but I can still appreciate and still embrace the life (when I had to buy new skis/pass in college I'd stop eating to save money). Even now with a grownup job I still rarely ever eat at the resort unless I'm with my gf who, as a women, refuses to go all day without eating.

Congrats on your job, but you need to check your attitudes. Seriously. The condiment tomato soup and scavenging meals win the prize IMO, I would never have the balls to scavenge food I'd rather keep my pride and keep skiing on an empty stomach.

you obviously read wrong. I said you can make your own sandwich for $4 or less. Fuck buying food at the resort...i was in Breck last year and paid $20 for a fuckin pepperoni slice and a brownie. wanted to jig the guy

Subway shouldnt even be in business anymore. Wawa's subs/sandwiches are infinitely better than subway.

muesli bars is a great thing to have with you. They're small, i doesn't matter if they break and you can find some that really tastes good!

For something bigger i'd just go with some buns with whatever on.
