Eating cheap on the mountain?

pbj in my wonderbread box (the most awesomely convenient invention EVER.) + granola bar + a couple dollars for a drank
 
i usually spear a moose of the lift, ski down to the body, chop a tree down and cook it there. it fills me and a friend up pretty well.
 
i go to the fountain drink machine, and fill the large cup to the top with ice then fill that with sprite let the bubbles settle, then walk out and usualy they dont ask 'cause there busy but if they do u show them and it looks like water b/c the ice is above the sprite. works every time.
 
when my mountain had saltlines, you could take a whole bunch of those and make mini PBnJs with the little packets of jam and peanut butter they had.
 
i ski at the same place that Wheaty214

does... i either take a few $ from my friends and pay em back later.. or just dont get anything and eat when i get home
 
quite often I go in to these buffet like places or whatever. cafe style right

i buy like a huge fuckin thing of fries.......eat 1/3rd the fries and go OH MY FUICKNG GOD DUDE I AM STUFFED....
than I look to my left and right for my obviously dining on the even more broke brethren (skiers).....and when Im done I say hey....im takin off. yuo want my food?
Gave awayfood 2x at alta, and once at brighton this year.

 
bring a few different deli meats, cheese, a loaf of bread, and lettuce. make a sandwich in the lodge. BAM. cant forget the kool aid jammers either
 
1 person buys a meal. then gives the receipt to you/ a friend and u go get the same thing, show the cashier the receipt and walk out. Repeat any # of times within 15 min and u are good. Then the next time u go skiing some1 else buys the 1st meal so u dont spend a shitload on food.
 
I don't eat cheap. I'm a rich classy motherfucker and I buy only the most elegant and delicious pasta's my mountain has to offer.
 
Fill Orage snack pocket to brim with trail mix, snack all day... in lift line, on chair, while hitting boxes and/or hitting jumps.
 
mountain grocer, and theres a natural spring before the mountain so we fill up there.i always bring a few things from mah house then get a couple dogs at the grocer. so clutch
