Eating at the Mtn, help

Not sure if a thread was made for this, I'm kinda getting sick of eating the same shit every time I go ride. Sandwiches and Dunkaroos aren't cutting it anymore. Whats something you guys take with you? so I'm not spending a lot.
 
Peanut Butter Snickers.

Regular snickers become rock solid because of the cold, but the PB ones are perfect cause they are still chewable.
 
I put clementines in my pocket. Walmart sells some real girthy footlongs (no pun intended) for 4.50. They are like twice the size of Subway's. I think I'm going to start bringing these:

But really, I don't eat much when I'm skiing, so I get lean and mean in the winter.
 
If you ski at a relitively small mountain the menu will be limited. But if you ski at a larger resort and want to spend your college funds, but food there. I got a beef stew bread bowl at a local mountain, it was fucking awesome.
 
dude you gotta get creative with your sandwhich making and they never get old. I ve eated 2 sandwhiches every day for lunch for over 10 years. Get some badass ingredients, good bread/buns, and fresh meat and lots of sauce, all about the sauce.
 
Pre-bake pizza pops/ mini pizzas and wrap in tin foil, Thermos with soup, pre-pop some pop corn and put that shit in a ziploc bag for snacking purposes. The possibilities are endless
 
I usually ski out of bounds, find some woodland critter, kill it, skin it, and cook it. Usually fills me up. Oh and its a great source of protein and energy for ya
 
make your own food beforehand and bring that and then it will taste better be cheaper and doesnt have to be laden with chemicals like all the disgusting processed food in this thread.
 
yea but if you put the sandwich in a baggy or whatever for a couple hours the sauce makes the bread all soggy, and nobody wants soggy bread
 
Typically I eat the same thing on the hill. Trail mix, a Cliff Bar, a chocolate bar, two apples, and either a sandwich (pb&j or blt) or leftovers (pasta or pizza or something along those lines).
 
i cant eat weat, milk, eggs, etc. so i have to bring all my own stuff everytime. consists of stopping at the health food store and spending as much money as it cost for a damn lift ticket. sucks. wish i could eat like a normal person. but hey i do my best and just bring lots of sandwiches with tasty wheat gluten free bread ! actually tastes like shit, but its all i can eat, ha would die for one of those lodge burgers !
 
Peanutbutter and Jelly sandwiches, there is some protein from the peanutbutter and sugar in the jelly. Good mix for skiing, cheap too.
 
When I'm skiing I'm not really concerned with the health factor. Just something portable and easy to store in a pant pocket. If you're that concerned, then yes just make a PBJ from scratch.
 
smoke more weed, and you will enjoy your sandwiches and dunkaroos a lot more. You'll probably want more of them if anything.
 
I like to bring stuff that's good hot or cold, so you can either eat on the hill or stop and use the microwave in the restaurant depending on your mood. an all time favorite is cut up hot dogs in mac n cheese (if you can swing it, velveta is the best, but its like 2x as expensive as Kraft). Also, soup in the thermos is always a winner
